💡Afternoon: Balboa Park
I have been to Balboa Park four times. Every time I go, I feel like I am not in the United States. Every building is full of historical and cultural atmosphere.
- You can visit the place where the male and female leads in "The Heirs" met.
- There are museums in the park.
- In April, you must visit the Japanese Friendship Garden, which has cherry blossoms.
- In May, you must visit the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden.
💡Evening: Enjoy the Beach and Sunset
There are several beaches to choose from. After going many times, let me summarize the characteristics of each one for you:
🏝La Jolla Shores Beach (Preferred by tourists)
The beach is large and clean. The photos taken on the pier are beautiful and it is one of the iconic buildings. You will pass by a small cluster of roses and a large lawn in the garden, where people often hold wedding ceremonies. The stairs to the beach are very close to the pier.
🏝La Jolla Cove (Preferred by tourists)
On the nearby rocks, there are even more seals, which makes it even more interesting.
🏝Torrey Pines (Visited the above options)
There is a small hill next to the beach, and there is a hiking trail. It looks a bit like Kamakura, so it is also called "Little Kamakura". There are many strange rocks on the beach.
🏝Coronado Island (Suitable for a half-day trip)
It is a small island in the affluent area nearby. It takes about 30 minutes by car. The beach is huge, clean, and the buildings have unique characteristics. You can see flocks of seagulls flying on the beach.
